Remi Tinubu Announces N50,000 Grants for 37,000 Women Nationwide

The Renewed Hope Initiative, spearheaded by the wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is set to benefit over 37,000 women nationwide through a re-capitalisation grant.

During a recent event in Benue State, where food items were distributed to Internally Displaced Persons with Disabilities and other vulnerable groups, Remi Tinubu, represented by the Vice President’s wife, Mrs. Nana Shettima, unveiled the details of the economic empowerment program.

Senator Tinubu announced that 1,000 women from each state and the Federal Capital Territory will receive N50,000 each as part of the initiative, which will be launched on August 22 across the country.

The program aims to support small-scale female traders and align with President Tinubu’s commitment to improving food security and economic stability.

The event also included the donation of a truckload of assorted food items for distribution to targeted groups in Benue State.

Governor Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, represented by Deputy Governor Sam Ode, expressed gratitude for the initiative’s support and pledged to further assist in distributing the aid. Alia praised both the President and Vice President for their ongoing support to Benue State.
