The Nigeria Police Force has announced a N20 million bounty for information leading to the arrest of Andrew Wynne, a British national, and Lucky Ehims, a Nigerian, both wanted for allegedly plotting to overthrow President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a statement released on Monday, the police offered N10 million for information leading to the capture of each suspect.
The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the suspects are part of a larger group funded by foreign sources to destabilize the country through violent protests and false information dissemination.
Nine individuals have already been arrested following extensive intelligence gathering and coordination with other security agencies.
The investigation revealed that Wynne, also known as Andrew Povich or Drew Povey, used his businesses, including a rented space at Labour House in Abuja and a school, as fronts for his subversive activities.
The public has been urged to provide any information on the whereabouts of Wynne and Ehims to the nearest police station to aid the ongoing investigation.
