Trump Family’s X Accounts Hacked to Promote Crypto Scam

By Ezechie Awele

In a shocking incident, the X accounts of Donald Trump’s family members were hacked on Tuesday to promote a fake cryptocurrency scam.

The hackers targeted Tiffany Trump’s account, using it to endorse a meme coin inspired by the former president’s new financial project, World Liberty Financial.

The hackers shared contact addresses and a Telegram channel link to make the scam appear legitimate. The tweet gained over 30,000 views before being deleted by the Trump family.

Eric Trump and World Liberty Financial quickly warned users about the hacked accounts, urging them not to invest in the meme coin. “ALERT: Lara’s and Tiffany Trump’s X accounts have been hacked.

Do NOT click on any links or purchase any tokens shared from their profiles. We’re actively working to fix this, but please stay vigilant and avoid scams!” they tweeted.

Although the hacked accounts were shut down minutes after the post, users confirmed that the damage was already done, with the scam tweet receiving several likes and retweets.

This incident serves as a reminder to be cautious of online scams and verify information before investing in any cryptocurrency.
