Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum visited Katsina on Thursday to offer condolences to the Yar’adua family following the death of Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Radda welcomed the dignitaries at Umaru Yar’adua International Airport.
He was joined by Murtala Yar’adua, grandson of the deceased and former Minister of State for Defense, and Inuwa Baba, former Chief of Protocol to President Obasanjo.

The delegation proceeded to the Yar’adua family residence, where they were received by Senator Abdulaziz Yar’adua, representing Katsina Zone, and prominent businessman Dahiru Mangal.

The visit highlighted the significant legacy of the Yar’adua family in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Obasanjo, accompanied by Osinbajo and Zulum, paid their respects and expressed their heartfelt sympathies to the family.

Their presence underscored the bonds that connect past and present leaders of Nigeria.

The continuous flow of high-profile visitors to the Yar’adua residence serves as a testament to the lasting influence of the family and the strong ties that unite the country’s leadership.
