Muyi Fatosa: An Emerging Star In Okun Political Filament

The rust town of Isanlu, in present Kogi State was the place where a baby boy was born on October 21, 1982 but unknown to his parents he would eventually turn out to become a star that he eventually become later in life.

Though, he is currently an exceptional figure in the field of strategic communication and media, his influence and impact transcend into other fields of human endeavours, particularly in the area of youth empowerment and influencing.

His parents ensured that he got steady enrolment in school culminating in obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in French from Delta State University but before then, he started his formal education at the African Church Secondary School in Isanlu, Kogi State.

To his credit, Fatosa was able to combine academic rigours with practical expertise, leading to his unparalleled proficiency and dedication in the IT industry and a remarkable career journey spanning various other sectors.

At various times, he worked variously for Regent Printing Press and later at Anfield Logistics, where he had the privileged of Marketing Manager and Senior Event Manager. These assignments eventually pushed him to exceed boundaries.

Fatosa transitioned into the fashion industry at Nordstrom, where he redefined trends and captivated audiences, establishing himself as a trailblazer in the industry. He also ventured into the aviation sector as a Scrum Master at Delta Airline.

Constantly evolving, at Suntrust, he assumed the role of IT Project Manager, where he steered complex projects with precision, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and delivering value at every turn.

As the Senior Special Adviser to the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he was also the Head of Conventional Media for the party.

It is to his credit that in this assignment, Fatosa’s strategic brilliance and communication skills helped in no small way shaped narratives and rallied support for transformative political campaigns, evident from the visibility the NNPP gained during the 2023 Presidential election.

Currently, he is the principal Partner of Muyiano Limited Strategic Communications Company, the platform under which he continues to innovate by providing tailored communication solutions that reflect his commitment to excellence and visionary approach.

Despite his busy schedule, Fatosa has continued to champion the emancipation and empowerment of teeming youths of native Isanlu and by extension Okunland by his involvement in activities that further project and enhance their development and welfare.
During his stint as Director of Social at Isanlu Students Union in 2006, from where he eventually became the President of the same union in 2007 as well as the President of Okun Students Union at DELSU branch in 2006.

Also during his stint as the President of Kogi Student Union at DELSU branch highlight his profound leadership skills and dedication to community involvement and service.

Fatosa’s legacy is one of innovation, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
He is not just a leader; he is a beacon of inspiration, guiding others to reach greater heights. Muyiwa’s integrity, resilience, passion for positive change, and ability to navigate challenges make him a true asset to any endeavour he undertakes.
