The United Advocates for Good Governance and Leadership (UAGGL) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye to a key position in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
In a statement issued on Monday by the group’s National Coordinator, Adv. Oyeintonbra Theophilus Friday, through the office of Adv. Israel T. Ebiama, UAGGL emphasized Tombomieye’s vast experience and notable achievements in the energy industry.
“With over 30 years of experience, Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye brings the expertise, skills, and dedication needed to drive growth and transformation in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector,” the statement read.
As a former Executive Vice President (Upstream) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Tombomieye earned acclaim for his exceptional leadership and proficiency in operations, engineering, project management, and commercial strategy.
He is also celebrated for his unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, and transparency, earning recognition from esteemed professional bodies such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE).
The United Advocates for Good Governance and Leadership (UAGGL) has expressed confidence that the appointment of Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye would strengthen efforts to stabilize Nigeria’s economy and drive growth in the oil and gas sector.
