Portugal’s all-time top scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo, has received a Guinness World Record for the most wins by an international player.
The Al Nassr and Portugal captain was honored on Sunday night after securing his 132nd victory with the national team. He was presented with the award ahead of Portugal’s UEFA Nations League quarter-final second leg against Denmark.
Ronaldo played a key role in the match, scoring as Portugal defeated Denmark 5-3 in extra time to advance to the semi-finals.
With over 20 years of international experience since his debut in August 2003, Ronaldo continues to set records. In addition to this latest milestone, he remains the all-time leading goalscorer in men’s international football, with 135 goals in 217 appearances.
Ronaldo has surpassed 900 career goals in professional football, representing Portugal and clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, and Al-Nassr. He remains Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer, with 450 goals.
