Dream Rite, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational support and mentorship to Nigerian youth, celebrates its 10th anniversary in Lagos.
The gathering brought together students, parents, mentors, partners, and volunteers to reflect on the organization’s decade-long journey and renew their commitment to its mission.
In the last 10 years, Dream Rite has impacted more than 10,000 Nigerians, providing direct academic and career support to nearly 2,500 students through mentorship, structured programs, and scholarships.

The conference featured inspiring testimonies from Dream Rite scholars whose lives have been transformed by its initiatives. Among them was Stanley Okoronta, who, through the YesUCan Afterschool Tutorial Program, was able to raise his grades and secure admission into university.
Balqees Abubakar, a beneficiary of the Dreamers College Fund, is now in her final year of Economics at the University of Ilorin, having also passed most of her ICAN professional exams. Another scholar, Blessing Bankole, is set to graduate with a first-class degree in Pharmacy, while David Olagboye, a third-year medical student, is actively volunteering with an NGO focused on environmental health and climate-change awareness.
Speaking at the event, Dream Rite founder Olu Efunwoye urged stakeholders to continue building “predictable pathways” for Nigerian youth. “Potential is everywhere,” he said. “Pathways must be built. When a door opens for one young person, a family steps through often a community.”

He further encouraged participants to support the organization’s mission in tangible ways by becoming advocates who amplify visibility, mentors who guide students to success, or scholarship sponsors who keep dreams alive. “You can be an advocate a voice that tells others about our work and attracts partners and funders. You can mentor be the map that guides a student who is almost there. You can fund a scholarship keep a seat in class and a dream on track,” he emphasized.
With a decade of measurable impact behind it, Dream Rite’s anniversary celebration not only highlighted remarkable success stories but also reignited a collective call to action: creating more opportunities for the next generation of Nigerian leaders.

Dream Rites is seeking the support of well meaning Nigerians and the world for support as to funding and needed collaboration in realization of Scholarship schemes for it’s beneficiaries.
Dream Rites mission is to go beyond the shores of Nigeria and get into other African countries in sponsoring qualified Youths in it’s programs.
