A non-government organization, Hand Stretched Out Love Charity (HSLC) initiative on Saturday put smiles on the faces of the aged within the Abule-Egba area of Lagos State when it fed over 200 people.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Clementina Abohi, founder and CEO of the HSLC initiative, said the NGO’s “Operation Feed for Love Program’, is an initiative that ensures that the aged feel loved as their needs are met through targeted programs.
She said that putting smiles on the faces of people who often do not have any form of assistance from the government or society is a challenge the organization was happy to embrace.
Speaking further, Clementina added that “Operation Feed for Love Program” was not just designed to provide free food items for the elderly but “extend our love to them and assure them of our commitment to their welfare as well as to give people another reason to smile and be grateful to God”
Beneficiaries Speak
The elderly women who were presented with items at the ceremony, happily appreciated Clementina, the HSLC initiative, and the team for sincerely meeting and catering for them in these trying times.
They also prayed for God’s protection and wished the organization many selfless years ahead.
