Hand Stretched Out Love Charity (HSLC) Initiatives, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) has donated medical kits to the Orile Agege General Hospital towards its back-to-school medical outreach for children, scheduled to begin August 7, 2023.
In a chat with newsmen, the Chief Executive Officer of the NGO, Mrs. Clementina Abohi said the donation was to further assist the hospital in its 5-day free back-to-school medical outreach for over 2000 children between the ages of 1-15 years.
According to her, “Our children need to be healthier and undergo proper medical checkups before they resume back to school. This is why the Orile Agege General Hospital has in its capacity scheduled the week-long free medical outreach for over 2000 children and has one of our major focuses, we deemed it fit to support the good course”.
Abohi further advised parents to discuss their child’s condition with the doctors when they come around to get proper advice and necessary items needed.
Furthermore, co-founder, Mr. Joseph Abohi commended the hospital management for its efforts to improve the health care of children, and parents, assured of the NGO’s continuous support in events to come.
In his appreciation message, the Medical Director of the Orile General Hospital, Dr. Adesola Ayodele Pitan, who was represented by HOD, Dr. Adeniji B.A, noted that for Hand Stretched Out Love Charity (HSLC) Initiatives to partner the hospital on medical outreach for children was a highly commendable gesture.
He thanked the NGO for donating the medical items and assured them that they will be put to good use.
