The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the timeline for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), marking the beginning of the admission process for prospective university students.
According to Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, the sale of UTME forms will commence on January 31, 2025, and will close on March 5, 2025.
This window provides prospective candidates with approximately five weeks to purchase and submit their application forms.
Additionally, JAMB has announced that the sale of application documents and e-PIN vending for Direct Entry candidates will begin on March 10, 2025, and will end on April 7, 2025.
Prospective candidates are advised to take note of these dates and plan accordingly to avoid last-minute rush and complications. JAMB has assured that it will provide further guidelines and updates on the examination process in due course.
As the 2025 UTME approaches, JAMB urges candidates to be vigilant and beware of fraudulent activities, such as fake application forms and scam websites. Candidates are advised to only purchase forms and access information through authorized JAMB platforms and centers.
