Kogi NNPP Chairman Distance Self From State Scribe’s Statement, Says Mubarak Remains The Party’s Flag Bearer

POLITICS- Kogi State New Nigeria People’s party (NNPP) chairman, Prince Sule Abubakar has distance itself from the statement issued by the state scribe of the party, Hon Musa Dan Kano that the state chapter have accepted the ruling of Abuja High court which removed the party’s candidate, Dr. Mubarak Musa.

According to him, Dr. Mubarak Musa remain the authentic flag bearer of the party, saying the party will appeal the purported judgement.

Prince Sule stated this in Lokoja in his reaction to the Abuja high court ruling on Tuesday which gave judgement in favour of Hon. Hassan Baiwa.

He said all the organs of the party are behind Dr. Mubarak including the national leadership of party, NWC and NEC.

He appeal to all members of the party to remain calm, promising that Dr. Mubarak will be restore at the appeal court in few days to come.

“There was never a time I sat with my secretary to issue a statement to that effect to the press, the secretary he’s on his own.

“All the state Excos are strongly behind Dr. Mubarak, so his not the PRO of the party in the state, he’s on his own and he is not speaking for us.

“So, the general public should disregard the statement as the party will set up a disciplinary committee to investigate why he acted the way he did”, Sule charged.
