A dramatic accident occurred in the Mile 2 area of Lagos State yesterday morning, leaving onlookers in awe as a driver was rescued unscathed from a saloon car crushed by a 40ft container.
The unidentified driver was trapped inside the car for over an hour before emergency responders located him. A viral video footage showed a crowd gathering at the accident scene, praying and hoping for the motorist’s survival.
Men from the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and other emergency responders intervened to extricate the driver from the container. He was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
The accident caused significant traffic congestion in and out of Mile 2, lasting several hours until the container was removed from the expressway.
