Nigeria Police Force Announces Training Date For 2025 Constable Recruits

The Nigeria Police Force has announced that training for successful 2025 constable recruits will commence on April 12, 2025.

This announcement was made by the Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Nigeria Police Force. To confirm their application status, candidates who underwent medical screening from February 26 to March 12 must print their training call-up slips from the recruitment portal, which is now open.

According to Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations at the PSC, “Successful candidates must report to their designated police training institutions on the date and time indicated on their call-up slip for documentation”. The documentation period at training schools is scheduled for between April 12 and 19. Candidates who fail to report within this timeframe will be considered to have declined the offer.

To participate in the training, successful candidates must bring several documents, including their training call-up slip, application form, submission slip, NIN slip, BVN slip, original and photocopies of certificates, and other required documents listed on the recruitment portal. The training will be held at various police colleges and schools, including Police Training Schools in Ikeja, Ilorin, and Calabar, among others.

The training duration is expected to last around six months, divided into three stages: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. The PSC Chairman, Hashimu Argungu, congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to dedicate themselves to ensuring the security of lives and property.
