The Interim President of the Nitional Cashew Association of Nigeria, Mr. Ademola Adesokan has reiterated the commitment of the association in working with the President Bola Tinubu administration in ensuring that Nigeria maintains its place as a global cashew producer.
The Interim NCAN President made the assertion during a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Industry, Dist. Sen. John Owan Enoh at the Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment
Adesokan acknowledged the challenges facing the cashew industry but maintained that with unity of purpose, transparency, and renewed commitment, the association will emerge stronger.
The Interim NCAN President who led members of his team to the Ministers office called on all farmers, processors, exporters, civil society, and development partners to join hands in building a sustainable and prosperous future for Nigeria’s cashew sector.
He mentioned that the National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN) is the umbrella body representing the interests of cashew farmers, processors, exporters, and stakeholders across the value chain and plays a critical role in policy advocacy, industry regulation, and promotion of Nigeria’s cashew as a competitive global commodity.
