His Magesty Ogiame Atunwatse III and her Highness Olori Atuwatse III last week attended Regal Fashion, Ghana’s ancient Asante Kingdom on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of King Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu the Asantehene of the eminent Asante Kingdom’s ascension to the throne.
The event, a grand and memorable showpiece of culture, tradition, and the best of Africa’s rich and colorful
heritage, was attended by visitors from far and wide and featured an intermixture of elegance and pageantry that kept invitees entertained and bedazzled.
As expected, a strong contingent of members of the royal court of Iwere Land was in attendance as members of His Majesty’s royal contingent ably supported the royal couple displaying the best traditions of the Itsekiri Kingdom.
As demanded by tradition, His majesty and His contingent paid homage to his Majesty the Asantehe delivering gifts, well wishes and blessings on behalf of the entire people.
Meanwhile, the royal contingent has since returned to Nigeria after the successful visit.
