Osinowo stated that he has succeeded in tapping into the huge demands for fashion in the country owing to the large yet emerging markets in the country.
According to him the Nigerian fashion industry has the potential for growth, “Nigerians have flair for trendy, elegant fashion and considering that we have a huge market to play in, I have succeeded in positioning myself and my brand to be able to meet patronage.
According to him, era of operating in low level is no longer tenable stating that the sector has the potentials to generate huge foreign exchange for the country.
“I am not really happy that we in the fashion designing profession have not tapped into the opportunities in the sector to create the needed wealth for ourselves and for the country. “Nigeria is a very huge market for garment and fashion and we are still operating on the subsistent level that we have always been for several decades without considering the need to upscale and improve on our operations.”
