SPORT- The teenage son of Real Madrid legend Marcelo, Enzo Alves Vieira has chosen to play internationally for Spain after rejecting his father’s homeland Brazil.
Enzo’s international allegiance was revealed by Marcelo on Tuesday via Instagram.
“Congratulations on this achievement!” wrote the legendary left-back, who is now at Fluminense.
Enzo, 13, may have chosen this decision owing to his allegiance to Real Madrid’s youth academy which is in Spain.
He signed his first contract with Real Madrid last year and will continue to develop as a centre-forward in their youth set-up.
