Monday saw Antonio Rüdiger presented as a Real Madrid player and the centre-back, held an introductory press conference at Valdebebas and Share his Excitements.
Rüdiger: “Barca were interested in me but I told my brother it’s Real Madrid or nothing.” My debut in El Clasico? Even though it’s pre season, we want to win. I’m very excited.”
Rüdiger: “My parents don’t know much about football but they are happy for me. They know how big Real Madrid is.”
Rüdiger: “14 Champions Leagues is something impressive. It teaches you what this club is all about, which is winning. When the Champions League final was played I already knew I was going to join Madrid and I was cheering for them. I loved that they won.”
