The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has celebrated the party’s governorship candidate for Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, on his 40th birthday.
Obi shared a photo of Rhodes-Vivour and wished him success in the gubernatorial election via his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
He wrote, “Dear #GRVlagos, on behalf of my family, and the whole Obidient family, I wish you a Happy 40th Birthday. I wish you exceeding success in every area of your life. May your victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial polls, usher in a new and better Lagos State which you have always desired. God Bless!”
Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour (also known as GRV) is also an architect, activist, and politician.
GRV was initially one of the nominees gearing up to contest under the PDP but pulled out just before the primaries were held. He then cross-carpeted to the Labour Party where he contested the primaries and emerged victorious after defeating former All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain Moshood Salvador.
