Tinubu Appoints Daser David as DBI CEO, Names Two New NIGCOMSAT Directors

President Bola Tinubu has made key appointments in Nigeria’s digital and satellite communication sectors, naming Mr. Daser David as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Bridge Institute (DBI) and two new Executive Directors for Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT).

Daser David, an academic and industry expert renowned for his deep understanding of digital technologies and educational leadership, will take over from Prof. Mohammed Ajiya as the head of DBI, according to a statement released on Monday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President.

In addition to David’s appointment, the President has also appointed Mr. Reuben Oshomah as Executive Director of Marketing and Mr. Adama Kure as Executive Director of Finance and Administration at NIGCOMSAT. Oshomah brings a wealth of experience in communications satellite marketing and strategic business development, while Kure is recognized for his strong background in financial management and corporate governance.

These appointments are part of President Tinubu’s strategic vision to advance the country’s digital and satellite communication sectors, with the newly appointed officers expected to leverage their extensive expertise in their respective fields.
