In a decisive victory, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof-Oloyede, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been declared the winner of the recent local government election.
According to the local government election returning officer, Joseph Olorode, Otunba Almaroof-Oloyede garnered an overwhelming 64,300 votes, far surpassing his closest rivals.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Ridwan Akinbiyi, secured 3,247 votes, while the Young Progressive Party (YPP) candidate trailed with 156 votes.
This declaration solidifies Otunba Almaroof-Oloyede’s position as the leader of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, further cementing the APC’s presence in the area.
The results reflect the APC candidate’s strong grassroots support and effective campaign strategies.
