Adron Homes Unveils Premium Estate Plans As Company Backs 2026 Olojo Festival In Ile-Ife

Company links real estate investment with cultural preservation, tourism, and community development. Adron Homes and Properties plans to develop a Premium Estate in the Ile-Ife domain as it deepens its engagement with the ancient city through its participation in the 2026 Olojo Festival.

The company is a corporate sponsor of the 2026 edition of the renowned cultural festival, themed “Culture Preservation Through Sustainable Tourism.”

The festival brings together traditional rulers, government representatives, corporate organisations, cultural stakeholders, tourists and media practitioners to celebrate the cultural heritage and historical significance of Ile-Ife.

Ahead of the festival, Adron Homes was represented at the press conference and unveiling of the 2026 edition by senior members of its Western operations, including Ogundapo Odunola, Deputy Managing Director, Western Super-Cluster; Johnson Olugbenga, Assistant Managing Director, Western Galaxy 1; and Shobowale Taiwo, Deputy Sales Manager, Livingspring World.

Speaking at the event, Seyi Oyekunle, Director-General, Media, Branding and Corporate Communication, Adron Group, who represented the Managing Director of Adron Homes and Properties, Mrs Adenike Ajobo, said the company believes cultural preservation and sustainable development can work together to create long-term value.

Oyekunle described the theme of the festival as timely, noting that cultural heritage can serve as a platform for tourism, investment, employment, entrepreneurship and community development.

He described Olojo as more than an annual cultural celebration, saying the festival represents the enduring connection between Ile-Ife’s past, present and future and its place in Yoruba civilisation.

“At Adron Group, we are in the business of real estate, but our purpose is much bigger than the development of properties. We build homes. We build cities. We build communities,” he said.

A major highlight of Adron Homes’ participation was the unveiling of plans for its Premium Estate within the Ile-Ife domain.

Oyekunle expressed appreciation to the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, for the confidence and approval granted to the company for the proposed development.

He said the approval carried a responsibility for Adron Homes to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Ile-Ife while respecting its rich cultural and historical heritage.

According to him, the company plans to deploy its experience and development capacity towards a project capable of creating value for residents while attracting further investment into the community.

He said the Premium Estate could provide quality housing, stimulate local businesses and strengthen the relationship between Ile-Ife and sons and daughters of Ifeland and Yorubaland in the diaspora.

The Adron Group representative also described the project as an opportunity for people in the diaspora to reconnect with their roots by creating avenues to “come home, invest home, build home and preserve home.”

Oyekunle called for greater development of Ile-Ife as a year-round tourism destination, arguing that the city’s tourism potential should extend beyond the annual Olojo Festival.

He said sustainable tourism should translate into tangible economic opportunities for residents, particularly artisans, young people, entrepreneurs and hospitality operators.

He also encouraged young people to see Yoruba culture and heritage as potential sources of economic opportunity, pointing to areas such as film, technology, fashion, music, arts and tourism.

The 2026 Olojo Festival has attracted support from several corporate organisations. The Ooni recently unveiled sponsors including Adron Homes, Nigerian Breweries, Seaman Schnapps, MTN, Moniepoint and Ojaja Drinks.

The company said its involvement in the festival reinforces its broader vision of “Building Homes, Cities and Communities Across the Globe,” while adding a real estate dimension to its growing engagement with Ile-Ife and its cultural heritage.
