The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a ten-year-old for serving as her aunt’s drug courier.
The girl who was intercepted in Agege and taken to the police station was discovered to be in possession of drugs stated that for the past two months, she had been a drug courier for her aunt.
She narrated how she carried drugs daily from her house to the shop in order to avoid being apprehended by security guards, adding that she was well-treated despite not going to school.
When questioned about why she placed a young child in such a detestable line of work, her aunt appeared remorseful and begged for forgiveness.
