The management of Crescent University, Ayetoro, Abeokuta, Ogun State, has again announced an Honour for Ààrẹ Oníkòyí of Yorùbáland, Aare Tomori Williams.
The Proprietor and the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prince Adesegun Ajibola SAN and Professor Gbajabiamila during a press briefing said, Ààrẹ Tomori Williams was picked for the prestigious honour for his untiring and unmatched contributions to the Yoruba nation’ and Nigeria at large.
The University explained that the commitment, industry and dexterity of the honoree in many spheres of life, especially his abiding love for the youth, has distinguished him as a shining light and inspiration to young graduates in the Institution and beyond.
The vice chancellor disclosed that the Ààrẹ Tomori Williams would be decorated and conferred with the honourary doctorate degree during the forthcoming 16th convocation ceremony of the University slated for October 19th, 2024.
The University equally added that the dean of faculty of law, University of Lagos, Prof Sanni Abiola, SAN has been chosen to deliver the convocation lecture on with graduands, parents and guardians including government officials and the general public expected to be in attendance.
