The national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso has expressed confidence in winning the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on Saturday during the inauguration of the NNPP Secretariat along IBB Way in Katsina, Kwankwaso declared the party’s readiness to take over the presidency, state governments, and other political positions nationwide.
Kwankwaso, who was the NNPP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, stated that the party was on track for success in the upcoming general elections.
He criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), labeling it “dead” and attributing its downfall to a loss of direction.
The former governor urged Nigerians, particularly women and youth, to resist being swayed by money or food items during elections. He also called on NNPP leaders to increase their efforts to ensure the party’s success at all levels.
Kwankwaso praised party members and stakeholders for renovating the state secretariat, viewing it as a key part of the NNPP’s preparations for the elections.
He also pledged to support a young boy, Abubakar Ibrahim, who suffers from severe acute malnutrition.
The NNPP state chairman, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, highlighted ongoing efforts to educate voters about the party’s new logo, which symbolizes education for all, a core value of the Kwankwasiyya movement. Abdulkadir emphasized the need for grassroots sensitization to inform party members about the logo’s significance.
