The Chairmanship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ibarapa East Local Government, Kazeem Arogundade popularly called Arogun has extolled the virtues of Governor Seyi Makinde describing him as a very humble, brilliant, resourceful, exceptionally dynamic and meticulous administrator with uncommon insight, vision and sense of patriotism towards the stability and development of not only Oyo State but also our dear nation, Nigeria.
Arogun said this in a message to celebrate the birthday of Governor Seyi Makinde who was born on Christmas day.
“ I am happy to celebrate our leader, mentor and Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his administrative dexterity with which he ensured peace, harmonious co-existence and created an enabling atmosphere for enhanced productivity in a multifarious state such as Oyo.
“Our Party is particularly proud of you Sir for deploying your vast private sector experience and sense of accountability, transparency, honesty and passion to the administration and transformation of Oyo State as a development hub in the last five years.
“This is evident in your unprecedented achievements in job creation, human capital and infrastructural development in critical sectors including industrialization, agriculture, aviation, healthcare, education, housing, commerce, energy, oil and gas, road construction among others.
The Ibarapa East PDP chairmanship candidate expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his continuous role in stabilizing the PDP in Oyo State.
“ Oyo State PDP particularly acknowledges your unwavering dedication towards PDP’s mission to Rescue, Redirect and Rebuild our state from the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“ I therefore congratulate His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde on this special day and pray to God to bless him with many more years in good health to His glory. Happy Birthday and many happy returns Sir” Arogun prays.
Arogun also call on all to reflect on how we can act in the spirit of the season not just on this day but on every other day. He said “The message of peace and love for humanity which is the central theme of Christmas is one which we need especially at this time when hunger, division and selfishness are the causes for so much unhappiness in our country. It is only our concern for each and everyone and our willingness to work for the common good that will bring about a better future.
