Dr. Michael Olusegun Adejimi (MOA), a politician, has congratulated the people of Osun State following the tribunal judgement restoring Gboyega Oyetola as the duly elected governor of the state.
Itrybe.com recalls that on Friday, the tribunal sitting in Osun sacked Ademola Adeleke of the PDP and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue a certificate of return to Gboyega Oyetola.
In a statement issued to pressmen, MOA also commended the judiciary for the courage to dispense justice.
He said, “Today is a great day for the people of Osun State and I congratulate them all for this victory at the tribunal. Beyond that, this victory is also for the APC in Osun and across the country.
“I must also commend the judiciary for dispensing justice and ensuring that the will of the people is not truncated by enemies of democracy whose only means of attaining power is through rigging.
“We have scaled the first hurdle and I am confident that at the end of it all, we will emerge victorious at the Appeal and Supreme Courts. Osun cannot afford to return to the locust years of the PDP.”
