The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has opened applications for the 2026 edition of its entrepreneurship programme, NANSInnovate, offering student entrepreneurs nationwide an opportunity to compete for funding to expand their businesses.
NANS National President, Akinteye Babatunde, announced the commencement of applications in a statement issued on Monday, urging Nigerian students with business ideas or existing ventures to apply.
According to the association, NANSInnovate aims to identify and support student entrepreneurs operating businesses across universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria.
The programme will also provide participants with an opportunity to showcase their business ideas before investors, business leaders and industry experts.
Afeez said the initiative would create a platform for young entrepreneurs to gain exposure, connect with potential investors and access opportunities that could help them develop and scale their businesses.
NANS said the programme forms part of its efforts to promote entrepreneurship among Nigerian students and encourage them to develop sustainable businesses while pursuing their education.
